Nexen Tire''s quality has been approved in the Australian market.

The Australian test magazine “Choice”, published by the independent Australian consumer organisation “Choice”, has recommended the Nexen Tire CP661 summer tyre as its “Choice to buy”.

This recommendation was given to only six of the 18 175/65R14 tyres available to the Australian market, all of which were tested under strict and demanding conditions. “Choice”, the largest and best-known consumer magazine in Australia, selected a common tyre size which is fitted to many compact cars.

The test categories included such criteria as rolling noise and cornering abilities, as well as braking distances on both dry and wet surfaces. In the case of cornering in wet conditions, Nexen Tire was awarded second place amongst all the tyres tested.

The Nexen Tire CP661 high-performance summer tyre stands out above the competition for its good value for money and handling characteristics. The four wide, longitudinal tread grooves help expel large quantities of water, while the central double rib ensures permanent contact with the road and good steering performance even at high speeds. The 5-random-pitch design developed by Nexen Tire also significantly reduces rolling noises.
